The HR Director is responsible for defining, managing and implementing the HR Strategy. As a member of the Executive Committee, he/she will be a close partner of the two Managing Partners of the Company by providing his / her expertise, support and advice.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

Responsible for the definition and implementation of the HR strategy:

 

  • Collect the Management’s expectations and needs related to HR matters.
  • Define and implement an HR Strategy supporting the Company’s project realization in line with the Management view:

 

  • Compensation and benefits strategy
  • Recruitment and career
  • Performance management
  • Training
  • Organization
  • Company culture

 

  • Definition of the annual HR budget in line with the Financial Department and the Management and regular follow up to ensure the respect
  • Follow up and evolution of the HR KPIs and definition of the correction to implement

 

Responsible for the quality and follow up of all HR operations:

 

  • Oversee all the HR operations needed for the effective administration of the Company (payroll, taxes, contracts, recruitment, HR mobility, training…)
  • Propose an efficient and qualitative HR Service for all the Employees
  • Conduct the annual review process
  • Management of the disciplinary processes
  • Regular review of the HRIS to ensure its efficiency
  • Guide the Managers in their organizations

 

Manage social communication and promote a peaceful climate of communication between the Employees and the Management

 

Implement and promote a unique partnership with all the Managers

 

Play an essential role in the changes in support of the Company and actively contribute to internal communication.

 

Be responsible for the local HR laws:

 

  • Ensure compliance of HR operations with local regulations, in particular through regular local monitoring
  • Be responsible for all HR Maters and internal communication
  • Ensure that contracts, internal documentation and HR procedures are up to date and compliant with the local regulations

 

Management:

 

Animate and develop a team of 4 HR employees

 

 

IDEAL TALENT

 

  • 10+ years’ experience as an HR Manager or HR Director in an international environment
  • Good knowledge in the HR local regulations
  • Previous experience in the team management
  • Qualities such as empathy, listening skills, assertiveness, out of the box thinking, ability to anticipate
  • Master degree in HR Management or Psychology
  • Fluent in English and French as a large part of operations needs to be done in French, and the regulator is French.

MISSION

As a member of the Company’s Global Tax team, the Global VAT Manager will be based in Singapore and report to the Group Tax Director. The role will also report on an administrative basis to the EMEA Regional Controller. Most broadly, the role is responsible for VAT (including GST and other related taxes and reporting where applicable) compliance (shared, on a transitional basis, with the Company’s Financial Controllership team), business support, planning and reporting for all entities around the world.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

To fulfill those responsibilities, the role will manage four sets of activities.

 

Compliance, controversy & reporting

Currently, global indirect tax compliance is done on a shared basis between this role and the Financial Controlling team. The Company’s strategy is to progressively centralize compliance into the service center. This role will design and lead that transition, supported by an external firm. In the meantime, the role has direct oversight of the VAT compliance for the Company’s Swiss trading company and local sales affiliates in EMEA. For other countries, the role provides technical support to the Financial Controllers and their teams and the Logistics function in preparing the required declarations & filings and either leads or assists in the resolution of VAT inquiries and audits. The role also supports Headquarters in VAT forecasting & reporting and informing management of VAT-related risks and opportunities.

 

Business support

Working with Headquarters, the Regional Tax Managers and the Financial Controllers, the role serves as the global point of reference for all VAT-related matters arising from business projects and Corporate initiatives. The role provides technical support for contemplated business changes (including projects and entry into new markets) and handles ad hoc questions that arise from business operations. The role is also a key partner to the Logistics team to optimize the VAT treatment of the provision of goods and services among Group affiliates and to customers and business partners.

 

Optimization

Working with the Financial Controllers, the role supports optimizing VAT for the Company, its customers and other stakeholders around the world. That includes providing operational support in relation to business activities, identification and implementation of savings opportunities and analysis of the VAT impact of contemplated business changes. The role supports Corporate efforts to manage working capital and participates in transfer pricing processes to optimize VAT-related impacts.

 

Systems support & improvement

Working with Shared services, the role supports the planning, implementation and post-implementation phases for the deployment of new flows, products and services. The role assists in maintaining VAT processes in Oracle© and ONESOURCE©, including root cause analysis, user acceptance training and updating manuals and documentation. The role will be the VAT lead on the planned implementation of the Company new enterprise information and tax reporting systems.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare or support VAT and Intrastat declarations as required
  • Ensure processes & controls are such that all global VAT related compliance obligations are successfully discharged, including tracking & reporting of global VAT compliance status
  • Oversee, train & develop support staff, including shared services matrix-reporting roles

  • Establish & maintain practical processes & procedures to ensure adequate controls are in place as the business develops
  • Facilitate the timely & effective resolution of VAT audits

  • Support keeping management apprised of indirect tax cost & risk
  • Develop & support implementation of VAT-related process improvements
  • Contribute to structuring new arrangements so all VAT consequences are understood and addressed pro-actively
  • Participate in Group efforts to manage working capital
  • Create awareness and understanding about indirect tax issues & compliance across the organization

  General Manager – Revenue Growth Management | APAC Sales Capability Team

MISSION

The General Manager – Revenue Growth Management is a senior Sales role in our APAC Consumer & Food Service business who will partner with the Company’s Consumer Sales & Food Service Directors and their teams to help deliver their FY Revenue and EBIT objectives. This is a hands-on role to create the Revenue Growth Management objectives, strategies, action plans and most importantly, develop the RGM capability. This will include building data-based recommendations on various Consumer & Food Service RGM areas like Pricing, SKU and margin mix management, trade promotions management, etc.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnership with the Consumer Sales & Food Service teams and supporting them in delivering the Company’s business objectives via:

  • Create the RGM objectives, strategies and action plans to drive Revenue and EBIT for the Company’s consumer brands and foodservice, building on existing plans
  • Partner with internal and external experts to create the necessary frameworks, analytics, tools and data sets to develop required RGM modelling and plans
  • Lead the development of RGM programs and initiatives with various markets based on the above
  • Support in-market implementation of above programs and initiatives as required, develop the required KPIs to measure and track results
  • Build the capability of the Consumer & Food Service teams by refreshing and developing the required training, tools, processes and templates required to build and implement RGM programs in country
  • Develop and use a periodic, collaborative process to support the implementation of the agreed RGM plans in market. Help bust any barriers faced by the teams via escalating the issues to the relevant management and building plans to support the resolution
  • Encourage a culture of lift and shift of best practices within and across to deliver better execution of RGM plans
  • Refresh and develop a global RGM best practices tool kit to help guide the various Consumer & Food Service teams in the above areas of work

 

IDEAL TALENT

For this role we are seeking a senior business leader with:

 

Skills required include the following:

  • Highly proficient in Sales led areas of Channel Strategy, Sales Fundamentals, Category Management, Shopper activation, Trading Terms, Customer Profitability, etc. OR if have Finance background, then highly proficient in Commercial Finance areas like P&L analytics, margin mix optimization, building pricing recommendations, Trading Terms analysis, trade spend and A&P optimization etc
  • Intermediate proficiency or understanding of Supply Chain as it relates to RGM work
  • Highly proficient in interpersonal skills like coaching, multifunctional leadership, working effectively across cultures, and influencing without authority

 

Experience profile required:

  • Minimum 15 years of multi-country experience in Sales and/or Commercial Finance roles across Asia Pacific, of which at least 5 years must be as RGM Leader
  • Multi-country experience is a must. Should have worked in at least 2 Asia Pacific markets in leading FMCG companies
  • Progressively senior line operating roles in Sales and/or Commercial Finance, leading large businesses and teams at leading global FMCG companies. Should have done one role as Head of Trade Marketing or Commercial Finance of a country, and one role as RGM Leader of a country cluster (e.g., SE Asia, Greater China) or preferably a region like APAC
  • Experience in Food Service RGM will be a plus point, although it is not mandatory
